I was experimenting with some new materials I bought earlier this week- the black paper rose- yesterday. And then I found these shell discs I bought some time back, put everything together, and it resulted in this pendant. A piece only for the bold at heart.

Rental proceeds go to Kids On Stage, a non-profit outreach programme supporting financially disadvantaged children, which provides training and performance platforms for talented youths with a flair for performance. Jewels In The Garden~ $8.00

I fell in love with this garden pendant when I spotted it while hunting for new charms and without hesitation I decided to bring one home to see what I'd do with it. My sis gave me the great idea of wiring on crystals onto the pendant, just like what I did with Harumi, and this is the end result- a beautiful pendant with sudden pops of colour. *hearts*

Watching the drama 'Little Nyonya' on tv made me realise that women in the past ages were so stigmatised by society as compared to modern day women. Nonetheless some of these stigma remain and are generally accepted by society. This was the first combination of metal charms and swarovski when I first started dabbling with jewelry, and it remains my top favourite till now. It's definitely a statement piece, and it's also perfect for any lady who wishes to find strength in whatever she does. (:

This small collection (Life's Values) of 5 earrings are sort of an inspiration for me. Each of the charms with inscriptions were bought from my last trip to US. The 5th pair, featuring a woman in a hoop and black swarovski crystals, was sold at my school's fund raising event, which i participated in for the experience. So only these 4 pairs remain.

The cat matches the 'Love' charm cos it reminds me of the love that a mother cat showers its kittens. The ruby swarovski crystals make this pair somewhat feminine.

I got so excited making this pair of earrings. I got the metal charms on my trip to US last year. The sky blue swarovskis represent the colour of the sky and the orange swarovski remind me of the colour that the sun radiates. At the back of the charms the inscriptions are: Just For You. Only a few pairs are available, so this makes this pair of earrings a definite keeper.
