Watching the drama 'Little Nyonya' on tv made me realise that women in the past ages were so stigmatised by society as compared to modern day women. Nonetheless some of these stigma remain and are generally accepted by society. This was the first combination of metal charms and swarovski when I first started dabbling with jewelry, and it remains my top favourite till now. It's definitely a statement piece, and it's also perfect for any lady who wishes to find strength in whatever she does. (:

Papillon is one of my favourite chains, so much that I made one for myself! (: I found the wooden like ring that encloses the butterfly charm at a flea market, and I only managed to buy 2 of them. This chain goes with any outfit possible, so it's worth grabbing!

Loops and Rings~ $8.00

This asymmetrical necklace made me so thrilled when it was completed! The rings are lightweight, and it was really tough trying to pierce the holes into the rings without breaking them. Each ring is separated by a dark pink or green swarovski crystal, somewhat that of colours you see in a garden. (:

This is a similar Pauau pendant that i used to make 'Mirror Mirror On The Wall'. The Pauau shell is unique to New Zealand, so this is quite special. The colour of the Pauau shell can be said to be similar to that of the deepest of oceans. A clear teardrop helps to finish the entire look.

Faith, Hope & Love: Love~ $7.00

This is my first collection for necklaces. Most of the stuff ie the thick silver chain and 'dog tag' pendants with inscriptions were bought from USA, so they're quite valuable. Each of these 'dog tag' pendants have a chinese inscription at the back, so that makes it extra special. At first glance you might think this chain is too big and chunky for your liking. On the contrary, the thickness of the chain adds dimension and a whole new look. A silver toggle connects the necklace together. (: It's only a mini collection of 3 chains, of which only 2 remain.

'Vintage Leaves' is somehow reminicent of sepia photographs that give a worn out vintage feel. It also reminds me of the rustling of leaves on a windy autumn day, bringing back loads of memories. The 14 leaves serve as a reminder to my Junior College class, T14, whom left me with nothing but memories to last a lifetime...
